The Name

LekiaNa was never just a name I invented. It was given to me. After thirteen years living in Italy — immersed in its elegance, its effortless confidence, the way beauty was never an afterthought — a dear friend looked at me one day and said:

"You're not just Nataly anymore. You're LekiaNa."

He was blending my Georgian surname with the woman Italy had shaped me into. That name stayed with me. It became the soul of everything I would build.

The Moment Everything Changed

Some decisions are made in boardrooms. Mine was made in a clinic.

A routine visit revealed I might spend the rest of my life with a mechanical heart valve. In that moment, sitting with news I hadn't expected, something shifted permanently. Time — which I had always treated as something I could borrow against — suddenly felt finite and precious.

"I walked out of that clinic and made myself a promise: I would stop postponing the life I wanted to live."

That promise became LekiaNa.

The Spark

Not long after, I found myself in a small London boutique — the kind that doesn't normally open its doors to the public. Inside was a woman with a warmth that stopped me. Without hesitation, she pressed a pair of beautifully crafted leggings into my hands and said simply: "For you. Take them."

That gesture — generous, unexpected, quietly powerful — lit something in me. As a woman who has always believed that what you wear shapes how you move through the world, I realised I wanted to create something of my own. Not just activewear. Something that carries meaning. Something that carries you.

The Craft

I spent years working in fashion as a makeup artist — close to designers, close to the moment before a woman steps into a room and changes it. I understand what it means to feel ready. To feel powerful. To feel like yourself.

LekiaNa is built from that understanding. Every piece draws from Georgian folk dance heritage — the strength, the grace, the precision of movement that my culture has carried for centuries. Every detail is chosen with intention. The gold embroidery. The sculpting silhouette. The fabric that moves when you move.
