LekiaNa was never just a name I invented. It was given to me. After thirteen years living in Italy \u2014 immersed in its elegance, its effortless confidence, the way beauty was never an afterthought \u2014 a dear friend looked at me one day and said:<\/p>\n

He was blending my Georgian surname with the woman Italy had shaped me into. That name stayed with me. It became the soul of everything I would build.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n\n

Some decisions are made in boardrooms. Mine was made in a clinic.<\/p>\n

A routine visit revealed I might spend the rest of my life with a mechanical heart valve. In that moment, sitting with news I hadn't expected, something shifted permanently. Time \u2014 which I had always treated as something I could borrow against \u2014 suddenly felt finite and precious.<\/p>\n

Not long after, I found myself in a small London boutique \u2014 the kind that doesn't normally open its doors to the public. Inside was a woman with a warmth that stopped me. Without hesitation, she pressed a pair of beautifully crafted leggings into my hands and said simply: \"For you. Take them.\"<\/em><\/p>\n

That gesture \u2014 generous, unexpected, quietly powerful \u2014 lit something in me. As a woman who has always believed that what you wear shapes how you move through the world, I realised I wanted to create something of my own. Not just activewear. Something that carries meaning.
