Four thousand years old. Stitched into a waistband.
Every LekiaNa piece carries a Georgian motif. Not a print, not a logo — embroidery, in matte antique gold, drawn from symbols that have been carved into Georgian churches and stone since before most of Europe had an alphabet.
In Georgia these were never decoration. They were a language. Where a symbol sat on your clothing said who you were, and what protected you.
The Winged Waistband
Inspired by the winged sun symbols of ancient Georgian art, this wide horizontal motif was designed specifically for waistband placement — wings that wrap the body like armour.
The Compass Crest
My initials set inside a Georgian eight-pointed star — a symbol of direction, protection, and the eternal cycle. It is the mark I put on everything I make.
Each motif is redrawn by hand for every size, so it sits correctly on a UK 6 and a UK 14. It is the most difficult part of making these garments, and the part I refuse to compromise on.

I had spent my whole life being careful. Careful stopped making sense. I started designing that week.

Are these photographs of the garments?
Not yet. What you see are design visualisations made from our technical drawings. The first physical samples are being made now, and we will publish real photographs the day they arrive — exactly as they arrive.
What will it cost?

Where is it made?
We are in final conversations with mills in Europe and Asia, selecting on quality of technical knit, working conditions, and their ability to work with small responsible batch runs. We will tell you exactly who we choose.
